Finally some updates. Infantry is always being worked on. I currently am wrapping up the Valkyrie that had the interior painted which you can find earlier in the log.
I also finished another Chimera, just need Decals.

Worked on some Barricades, and I have begun working on my Cold One Rough Riders. Some WIPS in the next week or so.

I also wanted to show my Widowmaker Pattern Baneblade.
Its headed to Ebay. but I enjoyed putting it together.

Ah man, money is tight. I am also a notorious over buyer. I still have a Macharius Vanq, a Hellhammer and many, many other infantry models in front of this bad boy.
But I am glad you appreciate it!

An no I typically just run the Windows black on my Flyers. I like how it looks... and I am lazy painter. LOL

Total Painting for October:


Units:
Primaris Psyker, Platoon Commander Cooper with Powerfist, Master of Ordinance Carutthers
Lascannon Heavy Weapons Team, Missle Launcher Heavy Weapon Team, Autocannon Heavy Weapon Team: 75pts


Painting:

The Infantry are my standard formula.
I used the grayscale wash method first, white prime, badab black, then white dry brush, asurmen blue for the coats, ogryn flesh for flesh areas. Went into details with Black, Codex Grey, Blazing Orange and Solar Macharius Orange, Shining gold, Chesnut Ink,
As well Vallejo Magic Blue for the main blue etc. The Rust is watered down Mig Pigments light rust.

I also magnetized the missile launcher model so I can be removed for a wound etc. Just a little detail that I think is cool.
Basing:
Gravel Flock, 2 grains. Graveyard earth, White highlight. Badab black, white dry brush, More white, static grass to taste.

Still to Do:
Dull cote on the 3 HQ choices. The Weapon Teams need some misc details, some static grass etc.

Highs and Lows:

High:
Getting some pesky models done that have been hanging around.

Lows:
Not getting the troop choice I had originally chosen to be this months entry done. But I have some major WIP’s going on.


Next Month:
Finish a troop squad, working on a Chimera and A Medusa. Perhaps the Lord Commissar as well.
