    Re: Toschenko's Random Painting Log

    @ekxw: no problem mate, I can wait. I hope you can get well soon...

    @Crube and Palatine Katinka: ok, ok, you don't like my rusty dwarfs ... seriously, I agree with you that dwarfs won't let their weapons to get so dirty and worn, but I liked the idea of doing something different with them... Maybe rust is a bit too much (although I'll go with the corrosion effect at least on all warmachines), do you think I can go with a bronze colour (like that of the helmet) for the pick? The steel is preponderant on the rest of the mini, so I won't paint it with such a colour.

    @Shadow-Under-Rock: thanks!

    Ok, this is the finished test miner, not too bad for a rank&file model:

    I tried to copy the scheme that colin dixon used in the 6th edition army book, painting them only with different shades of brown. For the candle, credit for the recipe goes to ekxw: thank you mate

    As always, C&C are well accepted: I'm preparing the rest of the unit for undercoat, so I should begin to work on it tomorrow (hopefully).

    EDIT: hey, my thread has got five stars! yuuuhu!
