I am trying to put together a 500pt list based around my little-used Warg riders and can't find any mention to whether or not Wargs on the charge benefit from 'extra attack' and 'knock to the ground'.
Do they? Also, this came up last game, if a warrior with sword and shield being backed up by a friend with a spear gets charged does he (the sword and shield warrior) still get the bonus for being backed up? Cheers ~ Apple Dave Last edited by Apple Dave; 03-11-2009 at 15:17. |

Regular wargs do not get the knock to the ground or extra attack rule, only cavalry get this since cavalry are defined by a being a mount AND rider. So warg RIDERS would get the bonus.
The spear support is the same whether the front warrior was charged or did the charging, it adds an extra ATTACK to the front warrior regardless. |

Thanks for that Jobu.
Another issue I have come across is that an Elf Warrior comes with no equipment, I'm not sure if this was an actual rule or my misinterpretation of the last rule set but does a bowman (armed only with a bow) suffer a -1 in combat? The old rules stated that Orcs and Uruks used bladed bows and crossbows so did not suffer from the -1. Most other basic warrior profiles arm the warriors with some form of hand weapon. Basically: If I buy an Elf Warrior for 7pts, Heavy Armour for 2pts and an Elf Bow for 2pts will he suffer a -1 in combat unless I also buy him an Elven Blade for 1pt? |

All warriors are considered to be armed with a Hand Weapon unless it specifically says in their profile that they are unarmed. So an Elf Warrior does have a hand weapon, it just doesn't say it because it's one of those weird carryovers from the last edition.

Modals with allways be able to support unless the modal supporting has a Smaller base than the modla he is supporting E.G. A olrc speaman can not support a Troll but can a Mordor Uruk-hai. |
