so what do you uys think, and for an absolutly huge army i can combine them all

thats 1440pts (I'm trying to built 2 1500pts army from scratchs o mine beats yours. )

They are just too few heros really. You cna't do much about the king o the dead but maybe Madril or a Captain here and there to help out. Faramir and Boromir may have a lot of might but they are only 2 men and can't be everywhere at once.

not really. You may have 4 unber heros but not a single captain. i hate to say it but you may have to drop a few men to get some more might in there. It's jsut too meny men.

well they are individual lists, i just plan to combine them if someone wants a large LotR game, and then i can tweek it, but at the moment i have every one of those models except the horsemen.

Army of the dead

There isn't much you can do with it really as they arn't cheap and don't have much variaty really however you could try having some of the gray comapny. Maybe a few rangers of Arnor and 1 or 2 Dundain. That way you have a stong army with range and combat abiltys and still historically good. (They did fight along side one another in the book)

Farmir's guard

First of drop the Bowmen and get some rangers. They are better and cost the same. Maybe get a few spears too for them. Also maybe drop a few men so you have 8 of each maybe and add in Madril or Damrod to help the rangers and then some Osgilath vets. they are brilliant with Farmir as they egt a +1 fight while within 6", they are also braver too.

Boromir rides again

Maybe drop a few knights and get a captain with Horse, Shield and lance. You could call him Menathor as this person did exist and fight along side borormir for years often agaisnt the haradrim. You might want to get a banner too(That applys to all armys) as unless you want Boromir to take his banner. Came in real handy when fighting trolls.

don't think the undead have a banner in the bsg, but the other tips i will take, because i do realize how difficult it might be with one hero per army.

I personally think the weather top aragorn model looks cool to be with undead. cause he has a torch like when he was finding the undead in the cave. It will give a cool theme set to your army, and give him anduril flame of the west. It will be a pretty solid army.

Aragorn costs 175pts and his sword costs an addisonal 75pts. This means he's going to cost you over half your army.

Also The undead can now have banners at a +30pts.

nope. For SBG too but it was released in WD. but i forget which issue. They have the exact same stats as normal dead but they cost an extra 30pts and have a banner.
