Might think of doing a whole Rohan army out of this now (at this standard)
How is it?

Once i do more work on it i'll post

I started painted this model about a month ago, as always with projects of mine i never finish.
The blue isn't highlighted yet.

My ultramarine captain. (hes been leading an unpainted army for about 6 months lol)

Sorry about the photos, first time i've ever taken photos of my warhammer. (new camera ) if you can direct me into a good photo tutorial that would be excellent!

The colours i used for the ultramarine face was.
1. Basecoat of dark flesh
2. dark flesh/tallarn flesh (foundation paint one) 50/50
3. dark flesh/tallarn flesh 75/50
4. tallarn flesh/elf flesh 75/25
5. Tiny bit of shading 25/25/50 brown ink/black ink/water
6. touch up any areas by repeating step 3 and 4

Heres a model i put together today, the bits i dug out of my bitz box. I just noticed i left the mold lines on the arms. I might go back later tonight or tomoz and remove em, then repaint. On the cape i tryed some wierd effect one of my friends called streaking, i know its usually used on orkzy skinz. I usualy layer in smooth layers on my capes.

A chaos marauder i had sitting on my shelf waiting for paint to be applied. All these fantasy models may be a start to a chaos fantasy army. Otherwise a mentor legion company is on the way

heres some pictures i have of my imperial guard army. Still have the command platoon squad to make (the one with lascannon) and another 2 10 man squads for 1000 points, 2 HB teams as well will be inside the 10 man squads. I was going to paint the army in the 7 week painting challenge at the GW, i got 2 squads done but went away, so i ran out of time.

Hopefully by the end of this year if i don't start my mentor legion space marine battle company i'll finish a tank company and 2 full strength platoons. (but thats for later dates)

Here is the start.

Armoured fist squad

Some wicked marine in the armoured fist squad

sgt. of 1st squad

silly picture limit

I can.

Though personally, I get away with a cheap fluorescent desk lamp with a white tube, reflected onto the mini with a sheet of plasticard...

Keep it up! I agree with Xyoptic - your fleshtones are impressive.

Really nice green on that rohirrim, and the ultramarine aint bad either, nice and defined i think. the skin on the marauders and cadians is brill, especially the grizzled old sergeants.

Alright as i promised some pictures of my Baneblade. You may see dust or fuzzy looking stuff on some of the close ups. I forgot to brush it off before pictures. New rule don't pack your models away wrapped in tissues
Another thing i noticed when i put these pictures up is on the last picture. The red from the angel has hit the edges a bit I have started to detail the back. Just to see what it would look like It's still half painted as you can see.
