Finished Commander Shadowsun

Ok I said I wasn't going to post this because I wasn't happy with it, but on The Painted Dragon (see sig) I've had some really positive comments that in the cold light of day I can see its not that bad really. Still areas to improve on but I know those, and can work on them.

Concept sketch (not mine, was found on 4chan by a friend)

My 3D representation, completed from sculpt to painted in 11 days.

It's cool; I was not too keen on the green, but painted it's awesome (and I don't even like anime).

Why doesnt she have the circle on her breasts?
Otherwise very cool, although not quite as cute as the pic is, but still very cute.

I saw this on LO when you were in progress; nice to see it done. I disagree with your lock of the other thread; this one looks fine. Nice job!

TBH i wasn't happy with the guy on LO who went off on one. That and few other things, made me decide not to share it with LO. but in th cold light of day, i feel a bit better about it, so decided i would share it about in the end.

Its really cool, its not silly and looks very nice...youre painting is top too.
Just one small thing.... make the pupils on the eyes a bit bigger

You need extreme magnification to make out the eyes

i think you did a wonderful job, but I still think there should have been more sculpt to the face of the model. you did a great job with the eyes adding a lot of character, though. Nice to see it finished!

This is one of the best models I've seen on here in a long time... No matter how well other people paint or sculpt a space marine, it's just a space marine. Sexy Shadowsun is zogging amazing!
