Default What does your entire model collection look like?

I have been reading about some really cool projects and armies that folks here have but I have always wanted to see what entire 40k mini collections look like for some of the users here. I would love to see folks line up every single model they own and just take a picture of every mini assembled and ready, not necessarily painted, but just assembled so if someone said bring all you own to an Apocalypse game of massive proportions, this would be a picture of it.

Everything I own, or by apoc allies or just a single army? Unpacking and setting up just one of my armies takes like an hour and its not like I have that large a collection.

This is a cool idea for a thread, I liked that pic in the latest firebase with the bell ofl ost souls sitting in front of their entire collection.

Unfortunately, my collection is spread over 2 houses in different towns at the moment.

Mainly grey and green.

The excessive number of Guardsmen are grey and green.
The Wood elves are light grey and green.
The Lizardmen are mainly green.
The WW2 Russians are a greyish green.
I think about 1500 infantry and 60 vehicles in total.

I probably do have enough floor space for everything, but only by moving the furniture, and taking photos from the kitchen.

I almost dread to see what all my stuff would look like all lined up. But the things is, a good chunk of my models are still sitting in their original boxes. I can show you what the guard infantry part of my Steel Legion army looks like:

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...lLegion001.jpg
That would be the picture with the most models in it I ever took.

To this I would need to had all my tanks, my storm troopers, my marines, my nids and my daemon hunters. But like I said, a good part of it is unassembled, being striped or still on sprue.

I couldn't get all mine into a single photo unless I turf all the furniture first and put them all out on the floor. Nearest I could get to is this (bear in mind these photos are old now too, I have a few hundred more figs since these were taken including an Emp Fist Tank Company and a few more Super Heavy tanks, I'll take new ones and replace the album when my camera is back from being repaired):

http://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery/Spack88

The collection is doubled up in the photos - the last 2 show the shelves laid out on my sons bed when I took them all out to move the bookcases around so I could fit in yet another small bookcase.

However, about 1/4 of my collection is still in boxes and unbuilt, so the photos don't include everything yet.

This is just my IG, and not even all of them:

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...6/PICT3005.jpg

I guess I should once take a picture of all my stuff, but my flat is too small to put all the stuff on the ground and take a photo of it (I've got 6 armies atm, and 4 of them sort of match my IG in size).

I have a full room dedicated to my hooby, and even after getting rid of loads of stuff last year I still couldn't get it all out at the same time, even using the floor, gaming table, shelves, windowsill, and drawers. Waaaay too much stuff to fit into one phot, and I know someone even worse!!!

I propose a new rule for playing 40K...

If a model is not painted and based after one year from date of purchase, you have to donate it to someone else. They have one year to finish the model. All these unfinished models make me feel sad inside.

It's my ambition to photo all of my 4ok stuff together. It'll all fit on my living room floor.
However I'm not going to attempt it until I've got a lot more of it painted.

Only three of my armies are photo'd in their entirety

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89...y/S1036051.jpg
nids
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89...y/s1036133.jpg
tau
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y89...y/s1036148.jpg
necrons

I also have painted SMs and CSMs (2000 pts plus each) but not photo'd, plus unfinished witch hunters, guard etc. Don't worry, when it's all done I'll do a monster pic!

edit: I'm happy to say i's probably only ~£1000 of stuff. Reading some others' posts makes me happy about that fact.

I have a bookshelf with 6 shelves and each shelf is 33" x 12". The bookshelf is full. That's about all warhammer I own, then only counting models, not books, army cases, paints etc.

Me too. I stopped counting over five years ago, at around six grand.

I cannot answer this question, lest I also answer another question of 'what happened to my wages over the past ten years' realise I've wasted my life, and go utterly insane.
