I think that this may have been seen a while ago, but only in resin.

Looks like the excess witch/ daemonhunter retinue miniatures in the second photo with the remains of Mordheim commissions in the last pic.

The rules at this stage said: Strength 5 AP 5 Heavy 1 blast 5" I seem to remember.

Apparently, is not the main driller, but the final push into another, chaos, tunnel, talkes about multi-melta type weaponry but had corrections in text so may not come out that way.

Can't believe how quite it was at the FW stand. No que for the sales area and loads of time to talk to the staff. The 2 witch/ daemonhunter retinue miniatures shown in Slaneeeesh's post are private sculpts by the person who did the, soon to be released Scout sgt here.......

He did them in his spare time. There characters from a WH book. Not planned for release as yet.

For those DKOK collectors out there. I got the distinct impression that the whole FW team are being swayed towards letting Simon Eagan do the Death Riders command, which a load of us want, but it's not on the current list. I heard Simon Kirkham say that Gamesday may see the release of 12-13 FW kits not seen at all up to now ????? Also both Mark Bedford and Phil Stutchinskas seemed to think the Vraks Part 2 and the Painting guide should be out for Gamesday. Willtry to think of some other stuff later.

Damn that hades is an awesome looking kit, from the sound of things it seems like FW have been keeping a lot of stuff under wraps for the UKGD, will be looking forward to it.

The mole mortar crew are awesome. The rules are fairly nasty too, I wonder if they will be part of the combat engineers squad or as a seperate unit?

Slaaaaaanesh: I think those DKOK are conversions, I'm sure I asked that earlier this year. There are certainly no planned troops for DKOK on the horizon (ie penciled in a scedule) according to evryone I talked to.

That Mole Mortar (to me, it'll always be a Mole 'Mortar', just as a 'Quad-Launcher' will always be a Thudd Gun lol) is so cool. I've still got a few spare Guardsman bodies in my bitbox. I'll have to find some appropriate pieces to convert them...

I love it when they produce this kind of gubbins, with rules so that you can use them properly, even more than the major pieces (although that Hades is surely the next best thing to a Termite lol!)

It's the kind of odd specialist equipment that I think really defines a lot of what the Guard are about - things like the MM, the Las-Cutter and Long-Range Scanner from IA4 - all those strange little bits of 'equipstuff' that you always end up trying to house-rule and just wish there were proper rules for. Kudos FW!

Now all we need to see is a Phase Field Generator!

yh they are conversions, looks like the dying DKok from the quartermaster with a replaced arm, very nice idea.

and thanks for the pics, i think i might have to get those ogryns just to paint, they look quite fun (and disgusting lol) to paint, really good stuff, though that hades drill looks a bit messy imo.
