So is anyone going to the UK Gamesday this Saturday? Its gonna have so many sneak peeks and preveiws.
Unfortuantly I don't live in the UK...

Does it bother anyone else that the Chaos lord on Juggernaught is going to have the potential for a -1+ armour save (chaos armour, brass behemoth, enchanted shield). The whole brass behemoth thing + armour of khorne for demons giving them a 0+ was kinda annoying, but at least daemons can pop. I hope they make some sort of errata saying the best a save can get is 1+

Doesn't bother me, was not uncommon to see that in the last edition either. He's supposed to be hard to kill, this isn't a goblin chieftain after all. It sounds like you don't like facing anything with a great armor save.

Those Marauder Horsemen are dynomite. They are so brutish looking. I think I see the beginnings of some very fearsome DOW light cavalry.

Dang... this sucks. It already took me a very long time to decide to settle on DE over VC (and even still I'm kind of thinking of starting VC anyways).. but now this comes out.. makes my choice even harder. I've always been a fan of infantry. I want an army of Chaos Warriors supported by Marauder Horsemen. I don't think I even want to bother with Knights.

All I want from chaos is marauder horsemen, knights and chariots. I hope not all three units are special in the new book as chaos infantry usually doesn't make a difference.

Apparently the knights are very sexy.. you may not be able to resist if that Lord is anything to go by.

Great to see Jes producing such great sculpts- especially for fantasy although as Gorenut says it is making picking a new army very tricky... tempted by that lord even though I have no interest in chaos. Really impressive stuff.

Knights as well. There were rumours about a chariot, but we haven't heard much about that. Might be a second wave release.

I'm sorry, didn't you see the DoC book? It has a bloodthirster and a bunch of bloodletters on the cover. To the side, there are daemonettes. No Tzeentch, as I recall. Khorme is the most popular Chaos god among players, and they feature him the most.

Yes, but the daemons book was different. Fantasy featured Khorne and Slaanesh, 40k featured Nurgle and Tzeentch.

Having said that, this will be the cover. It's a new picture and is too good to be fake. They've just decided that a giant Khorne warrior covered in cheesy armour and looking particularly 'leet' is what the kiddies want, probably correctly.

This'll probably sell bucketloads to the kids off the back of that cover.

Not any different from them buying "flavor of the month" armies. I think the Khorne lord looks good, it's the rest of the cover, and the fact that he's Khornate, that I don't like.

I'm actually starting to think that there is only one Chaos god, but that he/she is a bit schizoid and doesn't really know who or what he/she is by the end of the day, so just pretends he/she is all of what people claim him/her to be

Personally I like the Nurgle side of the story, basically 'Throw whatever you have at me, I will just regenerate and throw some nasty disease in your face', I secretly think they are backed up by a farmaceutical lobby, the bastards
