Default 1500 CSM (Nurgle semi-competitive)

Hi folks I am trying to generate an all-comer nurgle list. Prolly not highly competitive but wanted to have a resilient list. Can you help me find strengths and weaknesses?

Troops:
7 Plague Marines @ 281 Pts; Plasmagun (x2); incl 1 Plague Champion; Power Fist;
1 Rhino; Havoc Launcher;

7 Plague Marines @ 276 Pts; Plasmagun (x2); incl 1 Plague Champion; Power Fist;
1 Rhino; Combi-melta;

7 Plague Marines @ 211 Pts; Flamer (x2); incl 1 Plague Champion; Power Fist;

Heavy Support:
1 Land Raider @ 240 Pts; Daemonic Possession

1 Vindicator @ 145 Pts; Daemonic Possession

2 Obliterators @ 150 Pts;

Total Roster Cost: 1478

Thanks,

I would say, that having only 2 scoring units is not too great IMO.

maybe dump the termies for another plaguemarine squad.

apart from that it seems a decent list, I like the plague fist idea, and my current list is still in progress.

prince wings mon warptime

7plague 2 flamers champ powerfist

7plague 2 flamers champ powerfist rhino

7plague 2 melta rhino

7plague 2 melta rhino

land raider

vindicator possession

this list has a nice ammount of bodies (for a pure deathguard list), but i do have 71 points with no idea of where to put them

Oh and yes thats my tattoo in my pic, wanted to get one of the mark of nurgle, but that would probably get infected...

I aggree I would say drop terminators for more plague marines as you only have 2 troop choices which would make playing with them hard I would say drop the land raider for yes another plague marine unit.I say this cause with only a small amount of troop choices you would struggle in the objective missions and if your troop choices die early in the game it is game over but with 4 you will stand alot more of a chance I tryed 2 troops and it was a hard game to win 3 makes it better.

Thanks folks, list updated!

Now this leaves me with 22pts to spend, and I cant find anything worth taking...

Only thing making me a bit nervous is the DP. I have tried to find a more resilient option which would mean either a lord in one of the PM squads or a sorc. That being said, the lord or sorc wouldn't do much for its point costs. I have always played sorc in raptors which gave me very good success all the time. As a nurgle (Death Guard) option I would prefer sorc with wind of chaos (one of my favorites) but needs to be with raptors to be efficient. Would sorc+raptors be a better option? What to drop?

Cheers and thx,
teufel.

I find a daemon prince is way worth his points I have mine with wings and warp time and he is a better option IMHO it would still be going with the back ground as their primarch is a daemon prince.

The Daemon Prince is much better value than the Lord. While the Lord is very good in close combat, the fact that he doesn't have FNP means he's not as survivable as his own troops (his Inv. Sv. only works in his favour if he's being hit by Instant Death weapons).

My Daemon Price has wings and Nurgle's Rot. Given his stats he is very unlikely to miss in combat anyway so I never felt that Warptime was worth it in the long run. However, since the majority of basic troops in the game are T3, Rot can clear a good 3-4 out of a unit before you get into combat and make it much easier to win.

Depends on what you are using your Prince for though - mine is very much greared to taking out enemy Troops holding objectives, I don't send him in to deal with Terminators etc as the Power Fists etc are not a good look.
