Looks really great, if every army gets a plastic superheavy like this that'd be fantastic!

Really?
Either that kit contains a enough varient parts to build nearly two of the things or those aren't the same model...
I can see different head, jaw, upper arms, torso and chest plates without too much difficulty

I'm pretty sure that both of those pictures are from the Apocalypse rulebook, one from the Steel Ridge battle report, and the other from the 'how to spend all your money' article.

I'm betting that the one on the right is a proto type, and if I'm not mistaken those are Phil Kelly's Tyranids... I remember that paint scheme.

that would be great if it's a plastic kit (one of those and a carni and your good to go to make aplastic heirophant). The heads do look very distinctive from the FW trygon.

I thought Moloch had basically confirmed that his was plastic, but Phil Kelly's was FW?

Anyway, the red one looks good and I'll buy one, assuming it is sensibly priced. It ain't no superheavy kit.

The red one is the FW one if I am not misstaken, the black one seems to be the plastic version, it's head looks far different from the FW.

If either is in doubt it's the yellow/black. The red model has numerous dissimilarities to the FW kit. The plates on the tail, the stinger tip, the jaws, the tongue...I'm sure many other bits as well.

The red one isn't a Forgeworld model, the mouth is very different, and closer comparison show differences on the body and tail detail.
Any idea when this is going to be released?

*edit* those damn ninjas! lol

The red one looks like it's plastic. The skull plating and flat panelling has that 'plastic look' - too flat.

The red ones head also looks similar in a lot of respects to the some of the carnifex head variants which you would expect from a GW plastic kit.

And yes Moloch was suspected to have one plastic Trygon.
