Sorry to hear that Hellebore - maybe they haven't got the ordering set up yet for it? I can't imagine it would have sold out already there.

Interesting to see that rumours of the plastic board where wrong but the rumours about there being more than just the bog standard 10 termies and umpty genestealers where right.

Maybe if a plastic board is afoot then we'll see it released as a seperate direct order only item? TBH I think that is probably wish fulfilment though.

Well I have to say those are some pretty good miniatures especially for plastic. My only reservation at this point is the Blood Angels iconography all over the terminators. still the stealers are nice 22 of them as well

Cheers

Love the updated Genestealer designs (especially the new three-clawed hands) but the cost is prohibitive for me.

My only worry is that they'll be sold out by the 10th of September, when my student loans come in.

Though if they're in the same scale, the termies kinda make me want to start a Blood Angel army. I mean, those ARE pretty damn cool.

I'm still giddy that Blood Angels get some love and some new models! First new models in well over a decade. Come to think of it i think Blood Angel models are older than Dark Eldar models since they are all from 2nd edition.

Maybe it bodes well for a Blood Angels codex in early 2010.

Mornin', folks:

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/ca...Id=prod210009a

EDIT: whoa, looks pretty good. € 78,- and limited run:

Quote Space Hulk

From the depths of space an ancient vessel drifts slowly towards the Imperium of Mankind - a space hulk. Within its confines, untold thousands of Genestealers slowly emerge from hibernation. The Space Marines must enter the cramped corridors and tomb-like chambers of the ancient ship to defeat this alien menace.

Space Hulk is a board game for two players, recreating the battles fought between the Space Marines and Genestealers. One player commands the Space Marines as they carry out deadly missions in the ancient Space Hulk, and the other commands the horde of Genestealers opposing them. Space Hulk's fast-paced rules simulate the tense atmosphere of a mission deep inside the cramped confines of a derelict space hulk, where split-second decisions are needed for victory.

This boxed game contains: a 23-page Rulebook, a 47-page Mission book and 35 finely-detailed, plastic Citadel miniatures, including: 11 Space Marine Terminators, one Space Marine Terminator Librarian, 22 Genestealers, and one Broodlord.

Also included are: 105 gaming counters, 24 corridors, 10 rooms, eight crossroads, eight T-junctions, six corner sections, four dead ends, four end pieces, 20 doors with plastic stands, one mission status display, and three plastic mission objectives, including: a dead Space Marine on throne, a Blood Angels artefact and a Cyber-Altered Task Unit. Plus a sand timer and five bone-coloured dice unique to this game.

/sigh... Damn, this does look cool. I told myself I wouldn't get it, but it's so tempting right now. The models are actually REALLY nice too, especially that Broodlord.

On one hand, I love it.

On the other, I kinda dig the blood angels termies... but I can't help but wish they were generic (but with that level of added detail!)

We can see how they overcame the basing issue - don't give them bases

I am definitely getting me one of these. It's just too pretty to pass up.

The genestealers all look awesome. Although I can't see the broodlord...
