Lightbulb 40k releases (Stolen from Dakkadakka)

(Sorry, the site only had the price in dollars. Conversion to euros is nearly the samething, though it will probably be cheaper in Europe by a large margin)

++WARHAMMER 40,000++

GAW 48-29-N Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Scouts with Sniper Rifles $25.00
GAW 48-32 Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Venerable Dreadnought $50.00
GAW 48-45-N Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Jump Pack Chaplain $12.00

I´m looking forward to better scouts (The chins, the horror!) and the new chaplain. The Venerable dread... If it´s metal, I don´t really care. If it´s plastic, it´s way too expensive. So I don´t really care anyway.

GAW 50-19 Warhammer 40K: OR Kommandos $25.00
GAW 50-51 Warhammer 40K: OR Big Mek $13.00
GAW 50-53 Warhammer 40K: OR Kommando With Big Shoota $10.00

The Kommandos are what interest me the most... But a Kommando with a big shoota? Aren´t they supposed to be sneaky? Well, they are orks, so they´d want to make as much noise as possible as soon as the battle starts anyway...

GAW 64-31 Warhammer 40K: TR Basilica Administratum $30.00
GAW 64-32 Warhammer 40K: TR Sanctum Imperialis $50.00
GAW 64-33 Warhammer 40K: TR Manufactorum $50.00
GAW 64-34 Warhammer 40K: TR Imperial Sector $90.00
GAW 64-95 Warhammer 40K: TR Stratagem Counters Set $8.00
GAW 64-96 Warhammer 40K: TR Stratagems Building Set $20.00
GAW 64-10-N Warhammer 40K: TR Urban Barricades and Walls $20.00

I wonder what these are...

So can anyone actually glean a release date from that information?

Are the scout snipers going to be a plastic box aswell? Or a metal box of 5. Seems tres expensive for a blister anyway.

Prices in Pounds, I wonder what these stratagem things are, especially with the counters - you think that they are just to show claimed buildings and booby traps or might Cityfight contain some kind of hyperdetailed kill team (running low on ammo etc due to cut supply lines)? Stratagem building set sounds wierd.

No kidding, huh ?

No release dates, maybe some of the better informed members of this fine brotherhood know... But CoD is due sometime around March, April, no?
And no pictures, either
I´d guess Stratagem Buildings/Counters are possibly objectives (and counters...). That would be quite interesting...

Finally something new for BFG. But whole sector...

This Cityfight II releases sound more and more promising.

Have fun,

Rolf.

Kommandos might be something cool. But anyone knows about the contents of the sniper scouts? (Yes, they´re plastic, but the price seems a bit high, really. Maybe they´re already considering the price hike). And the Venerable Dread...

And people complain GW are ridiculously expensive as well - a whole sector for $90 (£50 I would assume).

Ah, sorry . I would guess it's a battalion sized box, with the basillica, manufactorum and sanctum buildings all included (seeing as they all have consequtive parts codes).

My guess for the Strategem buildings is that they might be specific objectives for CoD scenarios, or they might be something like command bunkers, that you can buy for a points cost and then can generate various beneficial effects for your troops from them.

The stratagem stuff, that´d be corkin´! But they wouldn´t work for any army (like tyranids...) and it sounds too specific for a general box.
But that whole sector stuff... That sounds promising.

Me to, for the novelty value of shouting "WHY'S I WALKIN'!!!" or "I'Z 'ERE TA FIX YA GUBBINS'" whenever he appears on the table.

Nice one.

"I should invent some kinda' machine that makes walkin' fasta!"

These stratagems sound interesting... but I think the name has great potential to be extremely corny, so I really hope they don't look like gems.

It´d be very cool for GW to release something like the old Necromunda bulkheads, for the sole purpose of piling ´em up to make buildings. So as long as they´d keep it cheap, which sure as hell they wouldn´t.

Hmmm. Actually, the "Strategem Counters" interest me as well. I can't say I'd heard of them before. Any word on what these things might be?
