Default FreakForge´s lair

++ Primarch on page 4++

++ Dantenator page 5++

Hello everybody!

Long time without posting at the forums.
My life was a little bit upside down in the last year (arrghhh bloody 2009 !), but luckily, I was able to do some works.

I´m gonna use this Plog to show you what I´m working on (WIP & PIP, sketches, etc.), some finished pieces, and another crazyness.
Mostly 40K commisions, but will be some other models of WHF in the future (and some personal projects too ).

So let´s beginnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn !

Here´s some power armour version of Commander Culln that I made the last year.

The client requested that the model can switch between a on foot version to a Jump-pack option (for gaming purposes).
I work with magnets to make this option possible.
I choose to represent this character with a antique armour with big fist (to represent the old craftwork of the earlies designs of the AM).

Enough talk for now so move into the real stuff... PICS.

More to come...

And the pics of the Jump-pack version:

C&C are welcome as usual...

Coming soon, Wolf-lord Madclaw.

I really like it, especially the extra-archaic appearance of the armour and jump pack.

I'll try and check back from time to time.

In fact is some epoxy putty called Parsec (some local label), wich is pretty close to Milliput brown as far I know.

Here´s a couple of images of other details of this project that I forget to show earlier.

The sketches of the general view, some icons (one for the Medusa campaign, and another for the Anphelion campaign), and the Jump-Pack.

And some shot of the model in pieces.

Thanks again.

See you soon!

Quiet, you! All that matters is he's back!

As someone else who didn't get to do crap in 2009, I tip my mask to the Freak with a Forge. Good luck and keep em coming!

Hahaha, thanks Gonfrask!

Yeap, you already see this model the last year, but here at Warseer forums those pics are fresh news .

Thanks for your words IncrediSteve, I will try to do the best.

Well, here´s another project that I made the last year.

At this case my client requested to make a new version of his commander.
He send me a pic of the previous model that he made, and taking that model as starting point I began with the sketch.

The original model made by Madclaw:

My sketch for the new version:

And the model ended looking like this:

More to come...

...

A WIP pic to show better the face:

I change a little bit the pose to make him look more in a "roaring" attitude, also i make him bald ( IMHO suits better on a 400 old space viking character).

And finally a pic of the model in pieces (for better painting purposes I make the model in pieces).

That´s all for now.
Coming next ... some titan´s pieces, and a big project.

Thanks
FF

This... is... amazing! Those two models are so beautiful, it is not even funny. The details are amazing.

Do you have a website?
EDIT: You're popular in the Netherlands! Hihi.

He SHOULD have one.

Both minis are impresive, he already knows my opinion about them. To me, the most impresive thing is how Freak thinks about the bits to go individualy.

You realy pack a lot of character in your models. The sculpting is very good. Can't wait to see the next model you come up with.

Thanks buddies!

Daniel36: I don´t have a web-site... but I will try to change that in the curse of this year (so many people it´s asking about that).

The people of Netherlands really like the Argentinos... if you don´t believe me: Look at the royalty!!!

Thanks again.

Here´s a couple of pics of another work that I finish recently, some warhound pieces.
The client give some tips about the fluff of his titan, so i can design the iconography.
Also he wanted to modify the head-cockpit of the titan to resemble a celtic Predator´s mask.

Here´s the result of a several months of work.

And some details of the pieces...

Well, that´s all for now.

Coming next... PRIMARCHS (Yeah, some big power armoured demi-gods !!!).

Thanks
FF

Very cool sculpting there.. especially the Titan stuff.. loving the new headpiece for it..

Any chance you are willing to show how you do the fur/hair bits on the characters as well? That looks great as well !

Hahaha, you are so right. I hadn't even thought about that. I was just referring to the fact that there were 2 posts by Dutch folk here. But yes, Willem Alexander likes the Argentinos as well!

Nice titan!
