I saw the Atheron Grim Model in the codex and he is amazing.. Him and Sanguinor will probly be in my army at all times Either as them or other HQ. I have Mephiston and Dantes already(Had them for like 10 years now) So they will also be running around.

That 4d6 str 8 ap1 lance thing is REDICULOUS i saw that too O.o

Oh and the DC dreads get +d3 attacks

oh and Dantes!!!! those new DC?! that you got a hold of? or the Old ones?

Boo, well thats no blood angel army for me (i said all along from the day the rumors started that i'd do a BA army only if there was a Mephiston mini on par with that of Njal stormacaller)

but they looked just like the ones in the dex...

Its probly the old ones then... And Mephiston model still looks great for as old as its sculpt is...... Astorash Grim(or whatever his actual name is)Armor Reminds me of Mephiston with like the Muscle Sinew look on the armor and Sanguinour looks like a Dante/St. Celestine Mix

Well somewhat like you. I plan on coming back to 40k due to blood angels.... I wish i spent more time reading through the book. I might go to GW again over this weekend and just take alot of time to read it.

btw, i don't remember who posted it but when they said that there is a suspiciously similar image in the BRB of what the storm raven is described as is rather correct. Pg 56 has a picture with a thunderhawk like vehicle with TL sponsons on the wings and clearly missiles being launched under the wings. It also looks wider than a standard thunderhawk. Anyone willing to make one should probably use this picture for reference as it is pretty close to how the codex describes the thing.

Any chance on seeing a pic that has the 2h chainsword visible?

And on the note, LOVING the new Tycho rules. An attractive list to me would be:

Tycho/Possibly a cheapo Librarian (cover save power/ld to act power)
Sternguard/Possibly Sanguinary Priests (I imagine them working like IG Priests - attachable to squads)
Tactical Squads
Rhinos

So what do you guys think ? not too impressed with the generic BA/Death company sprue...but WOW those Sanguinary Guard and special characters are breathtaking IMO.. I'll prolly pick up a few boxes, well just cos!
