Hi guys,

Pictures from the Open Day are uploading now and will be here shortly.

Points of note include Krieg Troops for inside the Gorgon, Krieg Death Riders, and a new Super Heavy Tanks.

I have like 40 pictures..

Bit more info on the new Super Heavy. It is a bit smaller than the others, armed with a twin linked Battlecannon main weapon.

Priced £85.

Death Riders are £50 for 5.

I've had a look through the Krieg and Chaos army lists for the next IA book. The Renegades are essentially a Chaos Guard force, with psykers, Preachers and even Chaos Commissars (Enforcers) They can take Alpha Legion squads as Elites though.

Macharius (also lists as Baneblade II) is a superheavy based on (what looks like) the Gorgon chassis. As DESTRIS says twin battle cannons, TL Stubbers and H.Bolter sponsons its 300+ points and armour similar to a Russ with structure points.

Ok, when the Gorgon was "just the Gorgon" I was a little ho-hum. Cool, but I'd rather spend my money on other items. But now.....

Seeing the Gorgon PACKED with troops ready to spill out makes the model much, much cooler. NICE.

You gotta love the Malcador; very cute design. But the name isn't ver well chosen due to the Tau connection.

And some info that I managed to jot down:

Kreig:
New Super Heavy based on the Gorgon called the Macharius,
armed with TWO (nto Twin linked) battlecannons as standard but can be upgraded to Vanquisher cannon.
Heavy Mortars & Thudd guns are ELITE choices not heavy, The mortars can now buy a range of different shells (as per the Griffon i think.)
HQ choices include Commissars and Death Rider Command Squads also a new thing called a Quartermaster who from what I remember is like an independant medic who can have up to four servitors.
Death Riders get a 6+ Invulnerable save.
Sentinels are nto in the army list (bugger, I bought several for them already)

Militia:
The Leman Russ varient is meant to be an early design Leman Russ.
Rouge Psykers (0-5) who is they fail a Perils of the Warp test become Possessed.
Alpha Legion CSM squad can be taken as an Elite choice.
HQ choice - Enforcers, think Chaos Commissars.

IA5 should be out sometime soon - 5 to 6 weeks I heard one person say, end of May from someone else on the Sales stand.

Yup, part two escalates bringing in a lot more chaos (i didn't see AdMech designs/WIP and forgot to ask). In part one the Militia are not much corrupted from standard Guard, Part 2 really brings the chaos aspect to the fore.
