Tales of Battle Issue 2 Tales of Battle issue #2 is here. It is a real, Bi-monthly magazine, in full-colour and shipped right to your door. ToB specializes in covering the Indy Warhammer Grand Tournament Scene and is packed full of pictures, interviews, tips and more!

Each issue includes a blow-by-blow description of a Table 1, Round 5 Battle from the GT we are highlighting. Included are army lists, tactics from the two generals playing, and post game comments including what went wrong for the loser.

Issue #2 includes reports from both the Colonial GT and the Capital City Carnage GT together with interviews from the winner of the Colonial, and with the organizers of the CCC. There is also an in-depth look at my favourite army and winner of the Players Choice award from the CCC, and much more.

Our motto is real armies, real battles. You will never find fake, contrived armies or battle reports in Tales of Battle.

Come and check us out.

Following are the rules for GothiComp 2009.

This is the fifth annual GothiComp, and will be run in a somewhat similar way to last years event. The main change is the way entries are submitted.

The Goal
The general aim of this competition is simply to encourage players to get painting and show off what they can do. I encourage people to enter no matter how good or bad their painting and converting skills are.

The Deadline
This competition will open May 1, 2009, and the deadline for submissions is Friday 31st July 2009, 4pm (UK time).

Jenny Brady, an artist based in Dublin, is looking for gamers to help her with a Group Exhibition which will take place at the The Lab Gallery, Foley Street, Dublin.

Specifically Jenny is looking for two gamers who might be interested in displaying their armies for between 3 to 10 days and possibly playing against the other person - the result of which is to be displayed in a perspex box as a diorama would be in a museum.
