After lengthy deliberations we have decided to introduce a new system for issuing warnings to members who break WarSeer's forum rules.

The current Three Strikes and you're out system will be replaced by a Points based system.

If one of WarSeer's forum rules is breached, a Warning will be issued together with a number of 'Warning Points'. The number of points issued will vary dependent upon which rule has been broken.

The Warnings are not permanent and will expire 365 days after they have been issued.

The following are not allowed on WarSeer. If you break these rules you will be issued with a number of 'Warning Points'. The number of Warning Points associated with each rule is listed in brackets.

Inappropriate Conversation Topics (2 Warning Points)
Includes anything that does not belong where it was posted or posts which are meaningless (Spam)

Flood / Advertisements (10 Warning Points)
Includes multiple posting of the same content and/or advertisements for third party commercial websites or commercial services.

WarSeer is a private forum. The WarSeer staff reserve the right to remove any and all user submitted content (for example, articles, forum posts, pictures, etc) and take action against the user if the submitted content violates the Forum Rules.

If you break the Forum Rules you will, in most cases, receive a 'Verbal Warning' from a Moderator or an Administrator.

If you break the rules again you will receive a Warning together with a number of Warning Points. Warning Points expire after 365 days. If you collect 25 Warning Points within a 365 day period, your account will be banned.

In addition to issuing a Warning together with Warning Points, there may be occasions when we feel a temporary suspension of access to WarSeer is also warranted.

There may be occasions when a rule breach is so severe we may issue a permanent ban without previously issuing a warning. This will not be done lightly. However, there may be circumstances which require this 'ultimate sanction' to be used

If you are issued with a Warning, you will receive a Private Message and an email from WarSeer explaining why the Warning/Suspension or Ban was issued.

If you feel that you don't deserve the Warning/Suspension or Ban which has been issued and wish to appeal the decision, please post a thread in the Helpdesk subforum or send an email to forums@warseer.com

Please note: donating money to the site does not protect you in anyway from receiving warnings or being banned from the forums if you break the Forum Rules. No refund of donated money will be given if you access to WarSeer is temporarily suspended or permanently banned.

1) WarSeer is a family forum. There are users of all ages here. Therefore please do not post offensive or vulgar language (this includes offensive or vulgar slang words), sexual or violent images or descriptions of sexual or violent images. Additionally do not post links to websites which have such content or adverts for such items.
