UPDATE: Here are the details for the Gotrek, Felix, Snorri, Ulrika and Max set that GW are releasing. It is correct that they will be 48mm scale (sort of between WFB and Inquisitor). They are currently planned for release on 22/07/06 with a preorder date of 10/06/06, but this could be subject to change.
The price is as follows, each peice will be available individually, in a similar style packaging to the recent foil pack gamesday minis.
They will cost �10 each, apart from Gotrek and Felix who will be �12 each, the resin scenic base will cost �15. These prices may change though.
There is talk of a deal to buy the whole kit as a box set for �50.

It is highly probable that the first releases for 7th edition will mirror those first released for 6th edition, mainly because those are most in need of an updated model line.
The predicted release schedule for the rewrite of army books is thus
- Dwarfs (already released, 3rd out in 6th edition)
- Orcs & Goblins (confirmed for autumn 2006, 2nd out in 6th edition)
- Empire (Q2 2007, 1st out in 6th edition)
- Vampire Counts (Q4 2007, 4th out in 6th edition)
- Dark Elves (2008 sometime, 5th out in 6th edition)
UPDATE: Prediction confirmed, though later releases may vary. The Dark Elves may or may not trade places with Skaven (rumour by 75hastings69)

These are the current more or less reliable rumours about the O&G army book
Confirmed
- Goblins will be included in the new starter set (40 Night Goblin Spearmen, 20 Night Goblin Archers, 10 Forest Goblin Spider Riders, 1 Big Boss, 1 Shaman and 1 Troll)
-Reintroduction of Forest Goblin Spider Riders. Expect them to be pretty much the same as the previous version / the rules printed in the back of the current O&G army book (i.e. like Wolf Riders, only M7, not Fast cav, ignore terrain penalties when moving over dry terrain and poison on the spider's attacks)

- Gav Thorpe has denied rumours of plastic Ghouls and Dire wolves as well as the existance of a new unit type of Werewolves.

New models in the making
Plastic Dragon! (provided by 75hastings69)
Rumoured to be different from the current, skinny dragons, the new plastic dragon will be similar to the new plastic Giant in that it will be BIG and contain parts to make different types of dragons (High Elf Dragons, Chaos Dragons, etc.) included in the kit.
Plastc Character sets
Apparently, the plastic Orc character set mentioned above will just be the start and eventually there will be a box for every army with enough bitz to make various types of characters, along with options for mounts, Battle standard bearers etc.

Spider Riders, Troll, Miners (in addition you can see parts of a Nightgoblin and the rumoured Dwarven Beer Cart).

In addition there are one Night Goblin totem, a barricade(?), two signposts(?) and four wound markers (two for the dwarfs and two for the goblins) and quite possibly more things we can't see.
