I know Bretonnians have never had an official list in Mordheim, but I would like to make a band using the most widely accepted un-official list. Is this still the old list from Town Cryer or are other options available.

Additionally, where can I find the old Town Cryer warband online?

Hello,
As far as I know brettoinans are an official warband. Go to the specialist games website where you can download them for free along with other warbands and rules. I was asking about the playability of the warband not long ago on this very board.
The rules have also had an Errata issued, swords alas do cost 10Gc not 5 :(

Have fun
Rob

I 'm sorry, but the Bretonnians aren't an official warband. But... who cares?

That I did not know, but now I do.
They are a good warband, IMHO, but beware of buying to many fancy bits of armor or ponies to early in the game. I was able to work out a solid warband, with full heroes and infact, the full number of warriors, with my inital 500gc. They have great scope for expansion if you get a few good games plus mordhiem is the perfect setting for the infamous Monty Python Grail Quest! Run away!

Okay, this is a hairy one. They are 'official' but not Official.

They have been published by Specalist Games, and thus aren't just fan-made's... or at least, they are fan-made's they adopted and gave the stamp of approval to, who knows.

So they are kinda in that grey area, where they aren't 'official' in the sense of say... the 'bands in the book, annual (minus the elves) or EIF. But they aren't Unofficial either.

they aren't an official warband but are published.

In terms of play generally find that they don't work too well (just mounted units in mordheim is kinda poorly ruled). Though lances on mounts is so overpowered +4 Strength when charging

Speaking of semi-official warbands, are the rules for Dwarf & Orc warbands available online anywhere?

Yeah...I...um, managed to find the rules about 30 seconds after I put that post up.

Still, yay, I can now get round to a Pit Fighter warband
