How does this look, and what could I expect on the tabletop?

Well, if you want to actually drop this force in, you will need some space assets. You can still launch the craft as standard fliers, but a space craft may give you more flexibility.

Personally, I find that the drop pod Marine force is far more useful. That said, the Marine aircraft are nice models...

What a funky list!

Personally, I don't *think* it'd do all that well, as those Landing Craft are hella expensive (Eating into your points budget), but it might just be so incredibly mobile that it would win through.

I do Devs and Assault Marines in THawks. I've had less than stellar luck with just Assault Marines.

I agree with CyberShadow. The list would do much better in Drop Pods and have a lot more points for other goodies like aircraft

IMO Landing Craft are not as effective as Drop Pods.

Certainly interesting list. I have only 1 LC so it would be tad hard to test. I share the question on how well that would manage once it hits on the ground. You do have chance to kill 4 targets on air assaults, but is it enough ...

I would use them as aircrafts instead of planetfall. So in that sense, you don't need spacecraft.

Taking into account the needed orbital craft, I figure I should probably do drop pods for the Tactical detachments.
