4vs4 and 1vs1

I got into these groups a while back but there's rarely anyone to play against - so I immediately thought of you guys. I highly recommend each of you creating a 1vs1 and a 4vs4 team - they're a great non-serious way to fill up ten minutes with a quick game, and because you have less players, they get more MvPs each and advance with skills quickly, so you can play your dream uberdeath star.

The system is not at all balanced but it is a laugh. Get creating teams! (in [L])

Note:
Ogre teams are not allowed in 4vs4 due to being overpowered.
In 4vs4, restart the game if you get the 'I am the greatest!' handicap - it breaks the applet.
In 1vs1, restart the game if you get 'I am the greatest', 'Morley's Revenge', 'It wasn't me', 'Buzzing' or 'Virus' - they break the applet.
Restart the game if a Mighty Blow player gets 'Knuckledusters'.
Freebooters and Star Players are allowed only if a player is missing the game due to injury.
Half normal positional limits - e.g. if normally 0-4 take 0-2.

One of my gripes with these 1vs 1 and 4 vs 4 tournaments is the players dominate the top ten statistics leaving the more deserving full team star players out of the picture.

I might give these a go as you keep recommending them but which tournaments do you recommend entering.

Especially if you are cheating! Positional limits are halved! I'm afraid that means no trees, and no 2 wardancers!

well yorkie, i run the 1v1 group and ive never seen you on the channel or a team coached by you... lots of matches are played, so i have a suspicion u either joined a smaller 1v1 group or one of the old and inactive ones...

just apply with any old 1v1 team and i'll add u to the tourney...

oh, and i agree, 1v1 is bad for stats and should be removed, BUT you can check the stats based on divisions, so if u want more realistic info of players, just check ranked top 10 players instead...

The rules are perfectly clear! Who said anything about rounding?

A rat ogre's usual limit is 1. Half that limit is 0.5. Hence you can have no more than 0.5 rat ogres in your team, and 1 is greater than 0.5!

I just wanted a logical argument, I have to do a nasty amount of computing in my new job :cries:.

Well I have up turned the apple-cart by using the tournament formula for 4 vs 4. I am keeping a team where positional's are not halved. At least with this team I can play against skilled up teams.
The other standard rules apply as without them the game wont work right.
