Cool I'll be there.
A direct conversion from the 40k rules gives us something like:
Type: War Engine
Speed 10cm
Armour 4+
Firefight 4+
Close Combat 6+
Weapons:
7x Heavy Bolter - Range 30cm - AP5+
Demolisher Cannon - Range 30cm - AP3+ / AT4+ Ignores Cover
Notes: Reinforced Armour, Damage Capacity 2, Critical Hit Effect: Instantly Destroyed.
Points cost, somewhere in the region of 100-125 pts each I reckon. They'd be cheap compared to Baneblades because they're so very slow.
I wouldn't put 7 Heavy Bolters on it as it cannot fire them at the same target. So perhaps 3 or 4 without any fire arc to represent the ability fire that many on a single target.

Hena has a good point.
IIRC one of the heavy bolters is facing backwards, and two are facing out from each side.
Thus-
Weapons:
4x Heavy Bolter - Range 30cm - AP5+ - Forward Arc.
1x Heavy Bolter - Range 30cm - AP5+ - Left Arc.
1x Heavy Bolter - Range 30cm - AP5+ - Right Arc.
1x Heavy Bolter - Range 30cm - AP5+ - Rear Arc.
1x Demolisher Cannon - Range 30cm - AP3+ / AT4+ - Ignores Cover, Fixed Forward Arc.
Entertainingly fiddly.
Those side weapons wouldn't fire ahead even if they wanted. Also I think it's tad too fiddly for 2DC WE. So just 4 without fire arc restrictions?

The arcs are pretty well established by the design of the vehicle though. Maybe 3DC and keep the restrictions?

I dunno, you'd be able to fire the side weapons if you drove up close to an enemy formation so that it surrounded you in a crescent.
Firing the rear HB is just unlikely however. :)
I think the best way to have it might just be to give it 7x shots with no fire arcs, remembering that every Epic turn represents 15 full minutes of moving around and shooting.
7x HB shots is frankly pretty naff on an Epic battlefield, especially when put on one vulnerable little tank... it certainly wouldn't be overpowered.
well if im gona be playing against your group or you, we could test it out see how it fairs chaos.

Yup I'm sure we'll quickly find out what it's worth. :p
o i ordered 3 FW epic shadowswords and 3 epic hydraflaks yesterday
It feels way too heavily armed for the 2DC. Most likely would still suggest upping the speed to 15cm and dropping weapons to 4.

It's insanely-heavily armed in 40k too, if that helps.

IIRC it's supposed to be slower than a Baneblade, which moves 15cm?

Awesome, anti-titan and anti-aircraft in one!

Couldn't you say something similar about the Gorgons. I must say that I don't know the speed of Baneblade or the Malcador, but vehicle that is slower than infantry doesn't sound very good.

We played a game tonight with his malcador with 7x shots. As expected it underperformed even with that many shots.
yes it wasnt very good but thats was only one game, we will play some more with it and see if there is any differance.
