This is following the war-band rules. (Tiny minimum unit sizes, only 150 points on heroes) Infantry are 3+, cav are 2+, and anything with a larger bace is 1+

General:
Veteran: QUETZLE, Light Armor, Shield, Great Weopon, Jaguar Charm
128

Core:
2x 6 Sarus Warriors - 2x 72 = 144
7 Javelin Skinks - 42
5 Javelin Scouts - 35

Special:
2 Kroxigor: 116
Tarradon: 35

Total: 500

Why use javelin when you have the option of blowpipe at the same price?

Javelins have no penalty for moving or long range, and u get a shield along with them, so the skinks can flank charge light units that won't get many wounds in on them, or even heavy units if you are only in contact with 1 on the flank. In a 500 point game, I expect to see lots of light / 1 man deep units.

List looks good. Personally I would go with blowpipes as well. In such a small game, those extra shots can be devastating. Totally can't go wrong with your general either... little will stand in his game at Warbands level.

I'm glad to see more Warbands lists.. personally its all I've been focused on as Warhammer goes. A) I don't have time for full scale games and B) it allows me to collect multiple forces while just collecting the models I want, without getting excessive. I really hope more people start playing Warbands so GW will support it more.

Nope.. in Warbands, infantry min is 3, cavalry 2, and monsters 1

EDIT: come to think of it, Lizardmen are the perfect army for this type of fighting - cheap but deadly skirmishers backed up with nasty, 2-attack str and tgh 4 regiments.

Id say they are above average, but the best army would be night gobblins IMO - 3 units of 25 for under half your points!

You can only take a detachment half your unit size, can't u?

Also, 5 mad detachments are useless after 1 loss form shooting.

Warbands arn't skermish. They are just normal war-hammer with smaller unit sizes.
