I was watching an Armorcast 40K-scale Phantom Titan on ebay, and decided not to even bother bidding because the large-class Armorcast titans usually hit at least $500 (one went for $800 a month ago). I was absolutely shocked that it closed for a little over $300. Anyone else think this was crazy? I'm kicking myself that I didn't bid...

That is low. I find that surprising as well.

Why did it sell that low, was something wrong with it? If not someone is probably very happy for getting a $300 phantom!

see for yourself

Apparently one of the weapon tips (could never tell which was the heat lance) had the tip broken off, but it was pinned back and reparied and IMHO I can't see the difference. Nothing that would knock $500 off the price.

I think, like me, most people didn't bother bidding because they get really high in the $ department. I'm betting that the person who won the auction is just as surprised as the rest of us.

edit... anyone spot that the titan described isn't the one in the photos? descriptions says black/jade green with white accents, photos say blue. hmmm...

Just cause someone bet $300 doesnt mean there going to get it the person who owns it can deny it

LOL, I am kicking myself that I didnt wait a couple years to sell my reaver. It sold for only like $140. Now, it would have sold for much much more.

A lot of lower-end digital cameras are notoriously bad at distinguishing between certain greens and blues, especially under artificial light...

That's not a massive amount more than I paid for my Armorcast Revenant. :(
