Greetings all. I am creating this log more as an incentive to keep painting. I hope you will comment, constructively please, on my models. I am by no means an avid painter, but I would like to eventually finish either or both of my armies and would love some encouragement along the way. Again, I do not claim to be an expert and do the best I can with basic techniques. Please share any tips you feel could help, but to be honest, I don't have the time to get too fancy, if you'll forgive my bluntness. However, I do want to have my models look presentable on the field of battle.

So without further ado, with more to follow, I would like to present you with my first Space Wolf model, a humble blood claw from a few different perspectives. So here we go.

While I'm bragging, as well as not being a world class painter, I'm also not a world class photographer, so I hope these pictures will suffice. Thanks to everyone who comments. I appreciate it! When I get more time, perhaps tomorrow, I'll post some pictures of my Eldar Farseer, Guardians, and Dire Avengers. I'm sure it will be slow going, but I trust this log will continue to grow as I complete more and more of my armies.

Thanks again!

Edit: Now I've got somewhat of a better handle on the photobucket system. I shrunk the pictures so as not to be too blurry and pixelated. One note is that I do have lighter blue highlights on alot of the ridges of the armor, but the photos have pretty much washed them out. At any rate, critique at will, but remember, I'm a beginner! :-)

Very nicely done!

Did you use decals or hand paint? I couldnt have done better myself!

Definitely decals. You can tell from the rest of the figures that my hand isn't even close to being steady enough to free hand that sort of thing. :-) I'm looking forward to being able to post a picture of an entire squad of these guys. I think they'll look rather fetching, no pun intended, ha.

I like how crisp and sharp the colors are. I also had to think for a second if those were decals or freehand. Kudos!

I cant wait to see more.
