Hey all,
First time in this side of the boards, don't really play a lot of specialist games any more mainly due to a lack of opponents.
But anyway, I always liked the look of Warmaster models and today I managed to pick up the following lot of High Elves for the best price (free) and was wondering as a force how they look.
If this was Warhammer I would know exactly what I would need to make this a legal and usable army but alas for Warmaster at the moment I know nothing.

So from what I see I have:
4 x Characters
1 x Dragon
3 x Bases of Reaver Knights
3 x Bases Archers
3 x Chariots
2 x Bolt Throwers
Some random other Character or command models?!
So what do people think I should add to this army to make it playable?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

So what you have is
1 unit of reavers
1 unit of archers
1 unit of chariots
1 unit of bolt throwers
1 unit of dragon riders (or hero on dragon)
1 general, 1 Wizrad & 2 Heroes
Best place to start is here http://www.specialist-games.com/warmaster/whatis.asp
Download the rulebook and have a look at the army lists.
A good computerised army selector can be found here http://www.brumbaer.de/
You currently have an illegal 1065 point force (if you take the dragon as a unit choice).
The game plays best at 2000 points and above.
Your force is illegal as you have 1 too many heroes and need 2 units of spearmen correcting these errors will take you to 1105 points (plus a spare hero for when you get to 2000 points).
I would however recommend getting some silver helms as these are the punch of a High Elf force.
Hope you stick with it.

Thank you very much for the information.
I had a good look at the site you linked me and it has lots of very useful information, some of the pictures on there of massed battles look fantastic.
I also had a look at all of your armies and I must say they look superb! Your enthusiasm for the game makes me keen to find another player so that I can give it a try.
I will regardless however get the missing units to make this army legal, I am already looking forward to painting these up!
