Hey all,

I've been buying stuff from the warstore.com and such but I was wondering what's the biggest discount for 40k stuff?

I found http://www.waylandgames.co.uk which offers really good deals - 20-35% off most items, but I was wondering if there was even better deals - other than ebay.

I suppose this isn't a topic generally talked about by us on Warseer, but if "advertisement" of your favorite online store that gives you the best discounts may help keep people playing this game plus get more people to play - then it's a win win situation.

Knowing that GW employees get 50% off of the goods means that somewhere out there - there might be a online store that offers 40% off! So post your stores and the average discounts they offer let's help stores and people get new models and such :D

A flat 25% off GW's prices + P&P (which is never more than a few of quid). Great people to shop with from my experience.

I might as well ask, as related to the original topic, anyone know where one could get BFG, Epic, etc. stuff for cheap? I've looked around, but nothing so far.

You're out of luck mate. As far as i know, Other than eBay, the only way to get Specialist Games stuff is from GW direct.

This IS a topic generally and frequently talked about on Warseer. Here a narrow selection of threads from 2007 and 2008 alone:

And why be so shy and only demand 40-50% discount? Look for internet stores that actually PAY you for taking their GW stuff

http://www.chaosorc.com/ has some, even used stuff for a cheap price, but their shipping cost here is a crotch tingling $30, and seeing that pretty much anything outside of the EU that breaks the 45-50 line gets automaticly slapped with a 25.5% extra cost in taxes at the customs, doesn't make me a happy customer for large long distance shopping.

I've tried asking around but so far no dice. The real problem is that I'm only after one Imperial and one Chaos cruiser, and I don't want to waste 24 on two boxes that leave me with two ships I don't need. The rest of my shopping list is just Imperial fighters/bomber/boarding crafts and some Chaos escorts.

bitkingdom.com offers 25-30% off as standard, and offers free shipping if you buy more than a handful of things. They can also special order direct-only stuff for you, including Specialst Games material.

Retailers buy their GW stuff from GW for roughly (60%?) off the MSRP. Anything above that is profit. GW's retailer contract states that no discount can go under (30%?) as it hurts their own sales too much. The stores that offer better than 30% usually go through a 3rd party distributor (Gamers Alliance etc) so they don't have to care about the contracts since they don't go through GW direct.
