Hi I want to make a giant but I dont want to use the GW giant model and I cannot get hold of the BoFA Storm Giant. I was wondering if any of you people have any other suggestions? I am sure that a 28mm model would do the job just finding the right one is the challenge.

Have you looked for 15mm scale giants? I just looked at the few 10mm companies that I know and didn't find anything.

Irregular Miniatures lists a giant in the 15mm fantasy range, but no picture

Black Raven Foundry also lists a gaint, again, no pictures.

For what kind of army so you want to use the giant? For your chaos army?

The giant is actually to represent a storm giant for BoFA...

I do like those two models Mithras both have alot of charm!

But still I want to keep looking...


I have been concidering using an old metal ghoul with a bit of conversion work.

Mmm, I dont know what a storm giant is supposed to look like. Can you describe the look you wanna go for?

In general they are just meant to be a big man/woman. So model wise I thought 28mm would be good compared to the 10mm folks (I guess I could go bigger, it needs to fit cavelry style onto a warmaster base)


I want a model that does not give away that it was a 28mm figure... so possible no to much regular clothing or an items that will look out of scale so maybe proper weapons are out of the question (Although I think I can build a club out of something)

Im also looking at some LotR models as I think that maybe some of the Orcs or wildmen could make good giants.
