View Full Version : Are plastic Marauders with 2-Handed Weapons on the horizon?

I've recently begun fielding large blocks of Chaos Marauders in my battles, and I've had moderate success with them using two-handed weapons and the Mark of Khorne. It's gone well enough that I'm going to put aside my older edition Marauder miniatures with the flails, and pick up a few boxed sets of Marauders. Unfortunately, I don't think the boxes come with two-handed weapons, just flails or hand weapons and shields.

Does anyone know if new marauders on foot are being planned? The new mounted marauders are stunning, and I'd love to see that level of detail translated into foot soldiers, especially if I can give them two-handed weapons.

I modeled up some GW marauders. I cut off the flail heads and used various leftover weapon heads from the Knights and Warrior sprues. Attached is a pic... if you can look past my fledging painting skills they look ok.

You can also just clip the flails off and use the heads from the hand weapons to make pretty good great axes.
