Just found out there are two size. Which is the official size...as in which is the one included in all the kits? Also, there seem to be a 40mm or 50mm square.

All of them are official size. You just use the ones that came in the same package as the models.

Different models use different base sizes. The 'official' base is the one that is delivered with the models. For example an Empire Spearman uses a 20mm base, a Lizardmen Saurus uses a 25mm an Ogre uses a 40mm and a Manticore uses a 50mm.

there are models that use all of the sizes you've listed.
for example, orcs go on 25's, while goblins go on 20's, and trolls go on 40's

with very few exceptions, the models come with the right size base. some models don't come with bases though, but those like i said are the few and far between.

Well, in that case I'll use 25mm as they are easier to work with. Plus, I don't play any "offical" games anyway.

I don't really recommend doing that. Base size is hugely important in Warhammer fantasy, to the point where you couldn't even have a friendly game really using models on the wrong base size. Basically if you put models on the wrong base you'll be effectively changing the number of attacks the unit gets in combat and the number of attacks opponents may get too.

There are situations where you get no bases though. Fel bats come without bases and drive me insane. I had to look up what they were to use, and even now that was off some site that wasn't GW specific.

Fell bats use 40x40 bases, per the latest base chart.

Where can you find that base chart? I have looked everywhere and don't see one. I found an old one from like 5th edition or some such, but would prefer something off the GW site. I'm sure it is there I just keep overlooking it.
