Can you figure out what chapter of marines the guy is holding up? It looks kinda like Salamanders...

In any case, 40k on the Onion, if only briefly..

I'd say a Salamander descendant chapter, but the symbol on his shoulder looks World Eater:confused:,maybe I just see World Eaters everywhere.

If your really curious, try searching this page.

I dont have time to surf for ya here, since I'm not familiar with the scheme.

Though, it could be a waste of time granted he didnt put an insignia on them to identify them. They might be custom DIY.

I remember seeing this when that issue of the Onion came out. The chapter is a made up chapter with the color scheme base off the Green Bay Packers (Go Packers!!). The guy who did the article if I remember right is from Madison or Milwaukee. Somewhere in the internet are more articles and photos, unfortunately over the years I don't remember where...

oh, and I'm from Wisconsin, so of course this is one of my all time favorite color schemes.

Found one link from Warseer, but it's just the same pick as above from '07 40k in the Onion (http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115628&highlight=the+Onion).. Must keep looking

"DIE! Die now... you smug bastard." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiEcFEHmycA) :chrome:

But yeah, it looks like a self-made chapter.
