My friend, Dictator, and I are building terrain in preparation for Planetstrike in July. I've been working on this Bastion, still needs some work so suggestions are very much appreciated!

Your off to a good start.
I would suggest some sand bags up top and more firing ports along the walls, even if they are just little slits. As with all imperial buildings a giant eagle emblem is never out of place. :)

Still working on the Bastion, but got a little side tracked... last summer I scratch built a Warhound titan for only $30 but at one point I ran out of styrene so I naively thought that cardboard would hold its own. That is, cardboard legs with a styrene torso. Needless to say, the thing was quite top heavy and ended up collapsing on on itself (with a bit of aid from my foot accidentally stepping on it). A lot of hard work for nothing...until now. I decided "Hey! This would make for some great terrain!" so I began work. This is the first piece with the only foot I have remaining. I have the whole torso and head still and plan on making a MASSIVE piece out of that soon enough. Need to get some Valhallans done first :)

Recycling old Titans is fun! With the help of my friend "Dictator", we got this thing finished.

Very nice! I too thought about having a titan crashed into some ruins - I'll have to keep an eye on this log to give me some ideas.:)

Glad you like it guys, I appreciate the comments!

I took some old ruins my friend and I had lying around plus a Landspeeder that I found all carved up and made a new piece out of it. Right now it looks rather dull (though, that kind of is the point for an urban rubble board) so I think I'm going to add some flare by putting dead guardsmen and bitz and such around. Not too much, but just enough to give it some flair. What do you all think?
