Right, I just found out about Reaper minis and went to see what the competition has to offer. I saw an entry called CAV and decided it sounded good. For some reason though (may just be poor sense of direction) I couldn't find the rules onsite. can someone help?

You have to register, but it's free. Then look at featured downloads.

The rules are supposedly in the final stages before being sent to the printer, but the last we heard anything about that was nearly a month ago.

Maybe I'll go stir the pot some....

Here's a smaller version from the Free Wargames site.

I'm interested to hear some feeedback about this game. The Dictator model is sweet.

Just so we're clear, the link posted just above by Easy E is for the first edition of the game. That version will no longer be officially supported by reaper once the 2nd edition rules are published. There will be no 1E stats for new models published.

Besides CAV2 has much better stuff for playability anyway.

By way of an update, the last hurdles toward publication of the CAV2 rules will likely be cleared this week. There was a delay in getting some art from a contract artist because of his somewhat unusual demands on how to receive payment. The book's final layout should be complete very soon, and the ebook available shortly after that in Reaper's Online store so you don't have to wait for the trip to and from the printer's.

I, for one, will be getting the ebook day 1 and will place a pre-order for the full-color hardback the same day.
