Is there any more background on D'roi and Lahaven?

How would you equip them? Lets say you use D'roi as a Lord and Lahaven as a hero. Bow of the seafarer and the thing that makes his and his units all attacks magic to D'roi and Blade of sea gold to Lahaven maybe?
And how would you suggest an army led by them? Maybe only lothern seaguard and shadow warriors (As seaguard rangers like in the SoC lothern army list)? And some DoW and Regiments of Renown maybe? Lumpin* maybe?

And could a list like this actually be good/competitive/fun?

* Lumpin and D'roi?! I smell sitcom!

This got my attention because of the DoW mention.

Can you elaborate?

D'roi and Lahaven are some of the original Regiments of Renown.

Uh, I had to check thrice to be absolutely sure this guy is not a Dark Elf.

So that's the true face of the oh-so-clean High Elf society.

I no longer wonder how Dark Elves could ever devolve into savage barbarians; looks like all Elves are. Yes, I include WE and their barbaric rituals!

There's actually some interesting stuff on that website.

Ehum, Look at this sentence again:

All this is most un-Elf like… …But then D'roi Haisplinn is no ordinary Elf.

I guess this all would be retconned - no-one seems to appreciate tongue-in-cheek entries anymore.

It's a shame. The whole DoW army is tongue in cheek, that's why I play them.
