With the exception of Scouts, No.
They use suspensor technology, Bipods/Tripods cut down on mobility, which is what the SM are all about.

In a Space Crusade supplement (think it was mission dreadnought) the marines had tripod heavy weapons.

I dont really see why they would need them in 40k though

It's a power armoured member of the Deathwing! Heresy!

Also, I think that was probably from the time period where Marines were more like regular grunts, albeit psychotic, genetically enhanced grunts.

Nagh. They'd pick up, carry around, and control a Heavy Bolter or Lascannon like you'd carry a pint of milk.

Yup mission dreadnought it was, and they were called Tarantulas and are still around, IIRC forgeworld does some now. They weren't just tripods either, they were semi-robotic I think and the operator could remotely control them as well. Also you could get them in 2nd ed 40k as well.

@ the OP:
Sure why not? it would make a good modelling project and would be something different. It wouldn't have any problems rules wise either.

they would if they ever were employed in a static defense and then only nonterminators. probably devastators and maybe tactical squads if they were not going to counter attack.
