All i know is Phil Kelly is writing DH/GK codex. Does it mean that we are going to see a GK codex next summer???

Does anybody have any news about it? Thank you very much.

Where did you hear that he's writing a new Daemonhunter's codex? Source?

No, he's not writing a DH/GK codex. He may possibly write it in the future, but that's so far off, there's no way of telling. I wouldn't hope for any Inquisition codex till at least 2011.

Been no news or rumours on it getting done only that it may get done and that Phil wants to be the one to do it. If he does i'm not going to touch the the Codex til the FAQ comes out for it.

I find that to be funny and sad. Both because it is true. We have to wait for a F.A.Q. to come out, just to clarify rules that should not be so darned obscure in the first place. I personally would love to see a new DH codex, just to see if the army becomes more competitive in 5th Ed. However, I will not get my hopes up.

Well we could get him book on how to contruct a sentence so that rules are clear as well as the intent. ;)

The problem with the time frame is that by the time the codex comes out, we will be close to 6th ed.

they can do the 6th when ever they like but note the gaps between Editions

RT - six years
2nd - five years
3rd - six years
4th - four years

They could do another 6 year gap and cover all of them.

I'm sure a GK codex will be done with '6th' edition in mind.;)

One stone kills 2 birds.:D It's sad to see every SM book gets a new update every edition.

Remember Space Marines are GW's flagship product and accout for a large portion of their sales.

Not true on this i'm afraid it took two Editions to get a new Space Wolves Codex however Vanillas always get a updated one.

Maybe GK players will get lucky, and have Robbin Cruddace write the codex.

As far as I can tell, that guy is very good about making pretty clear rules.

I mean, just compare the IG codex to the Spacewolves. Worlds of difference in clarity.

The most recently available information (from Alessio Cavatore at GD Italy) was "no inquisition any time soon" or words to that effect. Check out the GD Italy thread for details.
