The kind of girl that we'll never, ever ever see in real life, but we all dream about.

Christ, that nearly had me. For a moment I thought it was real. I was about ready to abandon faith in humanity...

This hurt so bad. How can watching something be so painful?

arxhon

Was it a "Oh, god, this will never happen and that knowledge pains me" kind of hurt?

Because it was for me.

I'm left to draw one of two conclusions:

a) I'm not nearly as big of a geek as I thought I was.

b) That was lame.

No, the hurt was more like, when you watch a rap video and there is a guy wearing tons of platinum and gold and there are ferraris on hydraulics bouncing up and down behind him and scantly clad black women dancing all over the place like IDIOTS.

When I saw her reach down, next to some miniatures, and pick up some dice, I didn't want to live anymore. It was like, a visual punch to the face.

"The page cannot be displayed", as of 12:18 GMT+2.

From context I assume it was an attractive female playing warhammer?

Bah! Fake blondes!

Hilarious. I've seen more attractive actual gamer girls though.

LMAO!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

*clears history*;)

It's not working all I get is the wee square in the corner.

How can I get round this?

That has got to be the lamest thing I've ever seen...

its even worse than when I accidentally watched ten minutes of The OC

I was about ready to abandon faith in humanity...

ABANDON FAITH!

I REPEAT, ABANDON FAITH!

Riddy

That was possibly worse than having to sit through the entire Eurovision song contest.

*abandons faith*

How are you so sure that it's a fake site?

Here's my question--

Since when could you save against a Magic Missile?

<DnD n00b>Erm... Perhaps some magic resistance? (Something with a will save or sumfin?)</DnD n00b>

Magic resistance...

A brooch of shielding will do it, but that doesn't require a die roll. But who cares?! I wish she'd handle my dice like that! I'm so in love, I think I'm gonna have to stalk that chick! How do I become a member of that site?

Man do I suck knowing about that brooch of shielding crap.

Hey! What could be more fun than watching rich kids lounging outside their masive villas whining on about how hard life is? Oh wait...

Still, at least you get Rachel Bilson and Mischa Barton gracing the screen for an hour ;).

As for that site, its really really hurts. You could be charged with GBH for that Arxhon :(

Magic resistance, magic items, etc.

Minister
17-05-2005, 20:38
Spell resistance is a DC which the oponent needs to overcome. Not a save per sae.

Bubble Ghost
17-05-2005, 20:47
How are you so sure that it's a fake site?

Main reason: there's no links. When you consider that, the tone of the "free previews" goes from merely suspiciously tongue-in-cheek to full on ****-take.

I pray I'm right, anyway.

Well... yeah, it was lame. Really, really lame.
BUT, it did make this amusing thread that goes to point out what obsessive geeks we are (the remarks of "You can't save against Magic Missile!?", you know :p)

Heh, there's no help for us :D

Minister
18-05-2005, 00:23
True, but did we ever think that there was?

Ass Goblin
18-05-2005, 00:23
I was thinking that. Opposed to looking at a real girl. There all arguing about Magic Missle. Shows where our loyalty lies :)

arxhon
18-05-2005, 00:29
Yeah...

There's no geek more hardcore than those arguing about film "quality" and whether or not a magic missile can be resisted when a hot chick in a bikini is rolling dice.

You people are sad.

Bah, it's half one and I have an exam in eight hours. Panic has stripped me of logic. Or the ability to sleep for that matter.

That was pretty funny even though I barely found them attractive (more of a girl-next-door type).
