Good afternoon,

I'm looking at converting a few IG to have auto guns, instead of las guns... GW used to do a white metal spru for Necromunda I think that had a few auto guns and other weapons on it. Does anyone know what the product code is for it, or have a picture of it?

I don't have any of the old back cats anymore, so I cant grab it from there, and I sent an email to GW UK to ask them, and some one emailed back and said that they've never done one...

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Have you tried Stuff Of Legends (http://wwwsolegends)? They might have pics.

The sprue had 2 autoguns, 2 lasguns and 3 shotguns, IIRC. Came in a pack with a pistols/knives sprue (3 knives, 3 autopistols, 3 stubguns, 3 laspistols).

It's an expensive way of doing things; you only get one of each style of weapon on the sprue.

Forgeworld do the Renegade Milita Weapon Arms (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/CHAOS_RENEGADES.html) set, which has 6 sets of autogun arms and 3 autopistols, among other things.

Alternatively, The Assault Group (http://www.theassaultgroup.com/) do 28mm modern weaponry, so you could kit your Guardsmen out with SA-80s, M4s, AK-74s, etc.

I know exactly what you mean. I think it was called the Necromunda Basic Weapons sprue. I always wanted one but never got around to it.

I'd avoid The Assault Group for 40k models, the weapons are really undersized and look more like toys in guardsman hands....they are much better scale for necromunda figures, who are more closer to true scale than heroic scale.

The Sprues pop up on ebay quite regular, but sometimes they go for a silly amount.

Hah ha! :) Necromunda gangers are at least as beefy (and in the case of the heavies, significantly beefier) as Guardsmen, and when they were sculpted, used exactly the same weapons. The oversized Goliath stubguns are the worst offenders - you could fit a Juve's head into the barrel of one of those.
