View Full Version : Minidexes

Hey all,
I've just been reading some of the Mini-codexes produced over on BoLS and Tempus Fugitives. They have some really good ideas for unique and characterful units and they present them in a professional manner.

Can anyone recommend any other sites that have mini-dex/fan made dexes? I'm not talking about home-brewed 'nid books with 50 point Hive Tyrants, but decent looking, playtested, BALANCED ideas that opponents will sign off on.

My local group already has a few people trying out BoLS's Badab War and looking at starting 30k era armies based around Tempus Fugitive's campaign weekend rulesets.

Thanks for the help.

Well, I've gotten fairly decent feedback on my Codex developments thus far. You can find links to them in my signature. I try to make them aesthetically pleasing, and in keeping with GW's current Codex formatting styles. I also do as much playtesting as I can (but not nearly as much as I'd like), and thus far have found them to be relatively balanced, at least with the other forces I have access to or can play against.

I have Arbites and Genestealer Cult lists in the works as well, but these are both in a re-write phase. (The Arbites list is being reworked to be more in line with Matthew Farrer's Arbites as depicted in the Shira Calpurnia novels, while the Genestealer Cult is awaiting my digestion of the new Tyranid rules before it is really ready to go forward.)
