have finally got round to watching this movie in 3D (yes i know it's been out for ages but with kids and work, well.....)
Anyway, i was wondering if anyone had attempted a Na'vi army at all and if so, which Codex they have thought to use?
They sound like a great army to make, though i think the Na'vi would have to be scaled down to human size, maybe wood elf minis?

Anyway, thanks for your help.

None, as there is no 'Na'vi' in fantasy.

How about blue-painted Ogres?

There's no "codex" in fantasy either...

But a search of previous posts will probably bring up similar discussions on the movie/WFB equivalents.

Personally I like to keep James Cameron as far away from GW games as I can...the Spacehulk/Titanic crossover was a disaster!

Beat me to it. Keeping in mind that the Navi are much bigger than your regular humanoid races, ogres are the best fit.

Alternatively maybe Throgg led Trolls? But I think ogres are the better fit in general.

There is even an Armybook for them...the correct taxonomy is as follows:

1. Race - Elves
2. Faction - Asrai, Wood Elves
3. Kindred - Na'vi

Other elves don't like the kindred due to the obscene, non-metaphorical way they 'join' with their mounts :D

I know a guy who's starting one (using lizards or WE rules, I'm not sure which).

Kroot for the bodies, terradons for, well the flying terradon thingys etc...
