Do I have any memory of specific Caiaphas Cain figure? Or was it just a hallucination caused by ingesting Graveyard Earth?

There is no specific model (unless there is a FW or collectors ed. I haven't seen), but there is an old commissar w/ power axe that I have always thought looked like him.

There was a Black library model published limited to just 500 produced.

You did not hallucinate after ingesting graveyard earth http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/b/b1/Ciphas_Cain_%28bemalt%29.jpg

Hmm... I have not read many novels with Cain, but as I remember he uses a Las Pistol.
As I can tell, the model has i Bolt Pistol. :shifty:
Does he use that in a book I have not gotten my filthy hands on yet...?

Does this really matter? On the cover of the omnibus, he's also shown with a Bolt pistol.

Well.
I'm quite nerdy and I have to ask when as far as I know it's not correct as the books are written.
The model should be mirrored of the character in the book.

And so, if he use a bolt pistol a book I have not read, fine.
If not, well... :wtf:

Well, there's Cain and there's "Cain the posterboy".

The former uses an old laspistol, the latter uses a boltpistol.

Black Library limited edition diorama. Had Cain and Jurngen on a display base, was limited to a 500 print run back in 2005.

Sandy Mitchell has said that the covers portray Cain as the Imperial propaganda posters, newsreels and magazines would. You'll note there's no Jurgen, and he's stood atop a pile of dead Necrons, orks and Tyranids. It's also not a very good figure.

I'm planning on using this guy:

with a weapon swap.

This is the answer. The lack of Jurgen with his melta tells you that this Cain is the artificial Cain of the Propaganda posters.

Ciaphas is very tall, so maybe you might need to saw the legs off, pin them and make some extra length with green stuff (so his belt is at the same height than the end of the shirt)

He'll be spending his time in the back of a Salamander, and I really can't be bothered getting that obsessive about it. :)

The belt's in the correct place as it is, anyway - there's no reason to change that.

As well as ladder at back of corpse heap...

I'd recommend this guy (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1300107&prodId=prod1070037), with two weapon swaps (chainsword & Laspistol) and some greenstuffed chops. He might look like he is charging, but infact, there is something far worse on the other side of the table.

Also, this fellow (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1300112&prodId=prod1140056) seems fitting to stand by his side.
