Will they fit on one of GWs large oval bases? The ones that make up the base of the Valkyrie flying stand.

Bitz sites and any monsterous creature you purchase. However, if you're worried about using them in 40k games - the 50mm square is the same size on the table as 50mm round. Probably a shade larger for getting your pile ins with the giant lord o death.

Also - it's a Forgeworld and a really nice one, why *wouldn't* you want it on the largest decroative base. Ever.

Use a CD. Glue two together if you want the base to be about the same thickness as a slottabase.

For professional looking (and cheap!) display bases, go into a charity shop or a carboot sale or such like, and pick up a mug tree for like 1. Then cut off the 'stem' and eureka!

Not sure why you are angry mate, as I don't think the bases are part of the deal - most of the bases look scratch built.
If you want a 40K base then any of the above will be fine, but I would definitely go for a custom built base to show off the model.

Galeforcenine do custom cut bases up to 99mm in diameter (you just specify the diameter when you order). It's $10 for a box how many you get for that price depends on the size you order (I got 10 of the 99mm bases). I've ordered 80mm and 99mm before and they are good quality and look no different to regular bases once flocked and painted.
