Taken from the conversions (http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=List_Models&code=301405&orignav=300810) section of the UK online store:

Squad Of 3 Cadian Rough Rider Bikes (Conversion Corner)

Paul Scott has always been a fan of the Imperial Guard Rough Riders, and with the release of the new Cadian plastic sprues, he decided to take a different approach to these warriors of speed. This conversion set will provide you with enough components to build a squadron of 3 Roughriders. To find out how to build the models have a look in the Conversion Corner on the UK News pages of the website.

Price: 81.00

Wonder how popular that is...

I wonder if anyone ACTUALLY saw that and ordered it.

At least the rough riders can be used as units. I wonder if anyone ordered the 26 Tau war correspondent (who looks like crap by the way)...

Wow what an insanly pointless thing to spend your hard earned cash on. Some people seem to have more money than sence. Honestly who would want to pay over 80 quid for three Rough riders????

If anything it inspires you to do your own conversions.

Could always get Tallarn Mukaali rough riders for less even.

I'm just going to hack some Ork warbikes about a bit for the same effect. Should work out much cheaper...

I think that's a bit of an understatement Getz.

That is crazy to say the least, I do sort of remember it from way back but the fact it's still there...:p

Either converting your own or getting the Mukaali Riders would be much better, both in cash and cool factor.

Yup, I'll probobly convert mine from... something. If I ever do them. I'm leaning away from rough riders at the moment. Unless I could get my Goblin wolf rider leg bits I never used to look right on a cadichan torso... Hmmm....

*bad idea forms*

im planing some bikers for my mechanised army, but im going to custom skulp all the bike componenets so they fit with cadian torsos/heads, then buy a moulding kit at some point to make 20 of them.

I don't think many people have/will order all the parts. It's more probable that some will have most of the parts in their bits-boxes and order the missing parts.

Most of these conversions seem to be made with objective of using up as many sprues as possible in mind :(. THese are prime example, althrough battlewagon is close, too.

It is a really beautiful conversion, but no I will not be ordering the kit anytime soon.

If someone really wanted to get the parts on the cheap they could posting in the wanted ads thread and offer to trade for what components they did not have.

I know this conversion has inspired some to use old Rogue Trader bikes (as they are smaller and more in line with the average Guard figure).

I'v just converted an IG biker out of an Ork Warbike (I had to make lots of changes to make it look less bulky, such as loosing the big front wheel and making the forks more upright.)

Overall cost...

Ork Warbike kit - 5
Mordian Heavy Weapon Gunner Legs - 1
Heavy weapon wheel - 50p

Total cost, 6.50 each.

Aside from that, I did use some spare Cadian bits to make the rider, but nothing that any IG player wouldn't have lying around.

I'm not entirely happy with it, but it looks okay if I do say so myself...

Patience dear boy. I don't have a digital camera so these things take time...
