Hi,

This dynamic seemed fluffy yet overpowered during its heyday. Do you think there is no place for it in the current game or do you think that we need more "special" units that can do weird things?

Personally I see a lot of new codexes coming out that offer very powerful combinations that are very different to play with and against due to special rules. I would like to see a return of this kind of specialisation in possible army builds than can create a very unique game. However these things are hard to balance against all comers....

Do you loathe or love special rules/equipment allowing the normal turn cycle to be broken?

I prefer back in 2nd when the rules allowed things to be done rather than special rules violating game rules in codex's.

That being said, if Eldar got stuff like that again, I'd probably put some priority in painting my Sam Hain force.

with TloS in the game, I think it could make a comeback.
the problem was with solid cover.
The ability to shoot without risking being shot back is quite powerful, although it should be noted, jetbikes can still do it.

Oh, you mean like half the Tau army? ;)

The CTM was HORRIBLY annoying. Remember Sniper Vipers? And the old "up/down" pop-up attacks from behind large buildings?

In my entirely biased opinion, I am glad it is gone (at least in the way it was).
