I did this a while ago too. You can get it from the downloads section of my old site (http://www.geocities.com/ijhawkes/) to see if it gives you any help. To be honest I'm not too fond of it any more though, it's a bit... well... precious.

I'd be curious to know exactly what you didn't like, though. I'm a sucker for debating stuff like this. If it was the weapon or armour tables or magic rules, though, then forget I posted this because I hate those too now.
