I need several giant squigs for my army , the only way i've been able to get them is to cut the night goblin warboss off the giant squig ( a pain in the ass) or pay £18 for one ( Gobbla) .

I remember once seeing a alternate giant squig model cast in ...lead I think ?

Does anyone know of any companies that make alternate giant squig models ?

it should be fairly easy to make one from scratch yourself. use polystyrene or paper balls as the base then milliput and finally greenstuff for the finer details. squigs aren't complicated anatomy-a ball with legs, a big mouth with BIG teeth.

theres probably people on here much more experienced than myself for sculpting but making the whole model from green stuff would be expensive i think. (hence the use of paper balls).

My greenstuff skills are abyssmal. That's why I was looking for other companies.

That“s a great model. Much better than GW“s one. I hope I can model something like it.

Why not use "The Chase" giant squig , from the collectors range?

Take a look at the Leviathan carnodons from Scotia Grendel (http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=47_53).
You would still have to remove the rider's legs but at least it is resin and should be quite easy to do with a dremel (use a dust mask though!!!).

(use a dust mask though!!!).

Isn't it carcenogenic ?
