In the 2009 catalogue (havn't checked with the 2010), there is a 10 man (woman?!) sister squad and a 5 man seraphim squad... do these still exist?

Hello Scar,
It appears the boxed sets have been discontinued. A pity really, if we thought Sisters were pricey when the boxes were available, then we must be dismayed now that they are only in blisters. On the other hand, at least you get exactly what weapons you want now that you buy them seperately. Some people didn't like the storm bolter/flamer combo in the trooper box set.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the info. Any idea if there is anywhere where you can still get the bigger boxes?

Probably Warhammer 40,000 General Discussion (as opposed to Fantasy).

They were discontinued...sort of.

Not sure if they fixed it yet - but the items still existed in the "Related Items" side bar the last I did a direct order. They had been removed from the general catalog though (box of 5 seraphim for $40 and a box of 10 sisters for $45 IIRC). I had to click add to cart not the image...and they add it to the cart...probably fixed it after my order (wanted to stock up on some more SoB before they disappeared completely...or went up in price yet again, wish I had done it on the old daemonettes).

Now and then the boxes of Seraphim and SoB appear on Ebay, but they generally sell for 30 - 40 here in the UK, nearly twice the original retail price. If you look around you might be able to find them for less with some luck.

I've seen 10 sisters for 15 and am bidding.

From my own experience getting 40 SoB's together for tale of 40k painters '10/'11:

They are no longer available from GW- my local store could not order them, and thewarstore.com was unable to procure them as well. The smaller packs are still readily available, and the larger ones can often be found on ebay. If you're patient and bid instead of Buynow, you should be able to get them for around their original price- I got four boxes for an average of $30 to $40 in June and July.

Cool.

There's some 5 seraphim box going for 0.99 and 2.99 P&P, but I'm not too sure about that. Scam?

Yes I was most cirtainly exspecting inuendo but knowing the poster I wouldnt get yer hopes up...

anywho when it comes to Ebay go with your instincts and take chances. on ebay the good old "if it looks to good to be true it probably is rule" can be broken but only because things go for such silly prices (dont take a chance on something with more than a fiver).

That's just the starting bid so it'll climb alot higher in the last couple of days it's up there. The seller also has 100% positive feedback which is encouraging. Give it a shot and bid :)

Also note that there is a used set of 5 Seraphim also up for auction on 11 with 2 current bids.

I'd be temped myself if I wasn't already watching over a few other auctions for my IG.

Guys at the Battle Bunker I usually go to are of the opinion its a good thing they are taken off the shelves because it means they are going to be reworked. I guess we'll see.

Looks like Repentia and Arco-Flagellants boxed sets are gone as well. OP you may want to scout for those boxes some independent retailers both in the shops and on the internet . You'd be surprised how many ancient stuff they have sometimes on the back shelves.

Agreed with Szalik. Check out independents for dusty boxes at the back.
The direct prices are truly frightening for witch hunters now.
