Before someone cries off-topic this is Warhammer related. I looking for railway tracks that will fit the scale of Warhammer models (i.e. 28mm) for a new themed army I'm going to start. From what I've seen Hornby's only go up to 22mm but it is hard to understand the whole gauge milarcky.

So, can anyone help me out here?

I think O gauge would be the closest.

GW are 28mm (heroic 25mm), roughly 1/58
25 mm are 1/64 or S scale
O scale is 1/43

Better to go to a model railway store to compare a GW mini to the different railroad scales to get a "good" look.

Standard railway gauge is 4 ft 8 1⁄2 in. So it should be the height of an empire soldier from feet to neck in width.
