There is supposed to be a historical wargaming version of Warmaster coming out these days, named Warmaster Ancients.
Is somebody around here interested in that? I think some of the people I game with are likely to pick it up, but no idea if we will actually end up playing it.
I belive it came out at the end of the last month. Copy and paste this http://www.warhammer-historical.com/books.htm link to see the book.
Looks very interesting. I picked up the Legends of the Old West, and it seems pretty good overall. Warhammer Historicals might be the company that gets me to cut down on GW.

Well, Warhammer Historicals is fully owned by GW. I guess you are referring to miniature spending?

Yep. Buying a few books is a lot less money to GW then all those minis I buy.

In case you are needing ideas sources for historical 10mm figures, you could check out http://www.10mmworld.com for a pretty exhaustive list of links and some reviews of various products out there.
I know the webmaster for that site, and he is just crazy on that scale of figures (I personally tend to be more into 28mm).
Warmaster Ancients looks very interesting indeed. If I don't start any other major army project I might start collecting a historical 10mm force.
I've already converted out gaming group into Warmaster so stepping in the historical side shouldn't be too hard. :)
